The Big Read! Coastal GA Reads Keynote Speaker: Wanda M. Morris
Mystery writer Wanda M. Morris is the keynote speaker for this year's Coastal Georgia Reads. Her latest novel, What You Leave Behind, is set in Brunswick, Georgia. The keynote event is 7 pm, Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Ritz Theatre in Historic Downtown Brunswick.
PTA REFLECTIONS: ACCEPTING IMPERFECTIONS
A national program of the PTA that encourages students to create works of art in every form- literature, dance, film, photography, musical composition, or visual art –around the theme Accepting Imperfection. The exhibit features the winning works of Glynn County students awarded at the local and the state level.
RECYCLED ART EXHIBIT
Students and local artists turn trash into treasure – be it imaginative works of art or creating functional items from a variety of recycled materials including paper, plastic, fabric, wood and more. In collaboration with Keep Brunswick-Golden Isles Beautiful.
GEORGIA COASTAL ARTISTS
Founded in 1983, Georgia Coastal Artists Guild is comprised of over 35 local and regional artists including fine oil, watercolor and acrylic painters, and print makers who display a myriad of work in motifs from traditional to contemporary. Artists in the Guild are recognized for achievement on local, regional and national levels.
GEORGIA ARTISTS WITH DISABILITIES TOURING EXHIBIT
Sponsored by the Pilots Club of Metro Atlanta and the Brunswick Pilot Club, this annual touring exhibit features the work of artists from all over the state in a variety of media, including painting, photography, clay pottery, mosaic, textiles, and other fine art media.
